Founded by Singapore domiciled captive insurance company owners, the Captive Insurance Association Singapore is a place for owners to meet and share experiences and best practice in the formation and growth of wholly owned captive insurance companies

About Captive Insurance Association

With over 80 captive insurance companies, Singapore is the largest domicile in Asia for captive insurance companies. The Captive Insurance Association was founded in Singapore to provide a home for captive insurance company owners to share their experiences and collaborate in the future development of this important sector.

The benefits for large organizations owning a captive insurance company are diverse. In recent years several factors have combined to make third party insurances less effective and in several cases more expensive than was previously the case. By forming a captive insurance company, organizations have an opportunity to take back control of their total cost of risk, extend their coverage options, and make serious reductions in the overall cost of their insurance programs.
